Role Summary / Purpose

In order to support our HR Department, we are looking for a HR Administrator 80%, ideally working from Monday to Friday. The position is located in Geneva and hybrid (two days/week working from home).

Your Mission

In this role, your main responsibilities for Geneva and our small entities will be the following:

  • Provide clerical support to the HR department
  • Ensure recruitment for all temporary assignments, apprenticeships and internships
  • Support the on-boarding of new employees
  • Manage various HR administration for employee’s life- cycle (planning of welcome process, data entry in the systems, social insurance affiliation, work permit request, taxation, )
  • Manage accident and illness reporting
  • Produce attestations, work certificates and other administrative tasks in Geneva and our small entities
  • Ensure organization, monitor and evaluation of internal and external training
  • Update employee documentation and data bases, ensure HR procedures are followed and up-to-date
  • Administer internal communication on HR-related subjects
  • Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records using Workday and other HR tools
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Your Profile

For this position, you ideally bring the following:

  • A minimum of five years of experience as a HR Administrator or Assistant, preferably in the industrial sector
  • Good knowledge of the Swiss social security system, work permits and labor law, ideally with a Swiss HR certificate (Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
  • Computer literate and experienced (Microsoft office)
  • Proven organizational and interpersonal skills; able to work both independently and in a team
  • Familiarity with a variety of HR systems, and quick to learn new ones
  • Customer-oriented, responsive and proactive in dealing with questions and concerns
  • Able to build strong, sustainable relationships and excellent communication skills
  • Understand how to manage information and balance employee confidentiality with business needs
  • High degree of personal integrity, confidentiality, discretion and respect for others
  • Able to prioritize, effective and efficient way of working
  • Fluent French and English required (C1 level); other languages are a plus
