Outdoor AC current transformers

The TCM/25-EF is a transformer suitable to measure line currents absorbed by traction units. It can operate at AC currents up to 400 A (50 Hz) and has to be installed on the roof of railway traction vehicles.

This device provides two analog outputs, corresponding to two different internal cores.

TCM can be delivered as a stand-alone device for rooftop installation by car builders and operators. It can also be provided as part of Sécheron Hasler Group’s comprehensive Energy Management System, which also includes the REM102 Energy Meter with DHS and DCS.
