Main benefits
HaslerRail’s IGW450-MVB gateway was designed to the EN 61375 standard. It is used to connect the Wire Train Bus (WTB) to the Multifunctional Vehicle Bus (MVB). It also supports application functions as per UIC556 through the embedded UIC Mapping Server.
A dedicated configuration tool can be used to create the database needed to configure the IGW to operate on TCN networks.
The IGW450-MVB is also compatible with redundant architectures. Two devices can be coupled on a single interconnection to the WTB and MVB lines. Each IGW450-MVB provides a pair of redundant WTB lines and a pair of redundant MVB lines. This particular redundant architecture offers the benefit of being redundant both at device and line level.
On the MVB line, the IGW450-MVB can also serve as administrator and provides the corresponding mastership redundancy.
