Job description:
• participating in the development and testing of power converters (thyristor/ IGBT) for traction applications
• providing feedback to the design and development team, project managers
• commissioning of inverters at customer sites (worldwide)
• customer training, solving any problems and complaints
• Ensuring complete functionality of the HW/SW converter
• uploading and debugging of SW or minor modifications in SW
• finding new solutions, innovations
• administrative activities related to commissioning and testing
• close cooperation with the company headquarters in Geneva
Requirements:
• university / college degree in electrical engineering
• 1-2 years of experience or university graduate
• knowledge of inverter principles an advantage – PID controllers, PWM, PFC
• knowledge of power electronics an advantage
• willingness to travel
• English at a communicative level in both written and verbal (communication with customers from all over the world)
• communication talent, ability to deal with customers
• professional competence according to the Decree No. 50/1978 Coll.
• reliability, diligence, flexibility, independence
